		<abstract>Regularities in the interface language support important cognitive processes performed by users during human-computer interaction. In particular, generalization processes play a major rôle when it comes to anticipating or recalling how to activate existing application functionalities. Textual interface languages incorporate regularities in their underlying grammar to describe the structure of interaction. As a result, regularities may be difficult to characterize and explore. This paper shows that regularities may be formally treated in graphic interfaces, with considerable advantages in terms of the users understanding of systems behavior.</abstract>
